Implementation of a sustainable environmental management principles is a basic condition to maintain natural balance and stability within ecosystems worldwide. It helps to limit negative human impact on the environment and, at the same time, to use ecosystem services more efficiently. However, one of the greatest challenges of our time is to find the best and the most efficient methods and tools supporting sustainable management of natural resources.

We are one the of GRID network centres in charge of collecting, processing and disseminating environmental information. Our particular focus is put on geoinformation managed by GIS applications (Geographic Information Systems).

We support the public administration and decision-makers by developing spatial information resources as well as spatial data infrastructure (SDI) – map applications and geoportals enabling to manage geodata in a more efficient way. We implement solutions based on geo-consultation model improving public participation in spatial planning procedures.
