On July 2, 2019, at the BASF Polska headquarters, the ceremony closing the Agro-Ambassadors program  3rd edition and the Good Agricultural Practices competition was held. The ceremony was attended by dr Monika Szewczyk, an expert on biodiversity at the UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre, and a member of the jury at the Good Agricultural Practices competition.

The first part of the meeting summarises the activities implemented in the third edition of the program.

In the second part, the laureate of the Good Agricultural Practices competition in your region, Julia Śmigielska, was awarded for the work on solutions supporting the soil environment protection applied in the Kramsk commune in Wielkopolska.

The AGRO-Ambassadors BASF as a program promoting sustainable development and innovation in agriculture. Students participating have a chance to gain their first experience in an international company and cooperate with the company experts.

Over 300 students took part in the events of the program's third edition. The Agro-Ambassadors educational program is implemented in cooperation between the UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre and the BASF company and is a partnership project in the "Together for the Environment" SDGs Partnership's mission: biodiversity.
